Welcome to Detroit. Glad to have you here.

This is your corner of Legion for the Detroit server. Use it for screenshots, base builds, questions about the map, or a story from your last session. You don't need a polished showcase to post something.

Say hello

What name do you use in-game? Are you usually solo, playing with friends, or looking for a group? Let us know when you tend to be on. A couple of lines is plenty.

If you've already joined, we'd like to hear how your first session went. Got a screenshot worth sharing? Add it below—just check you're not giving away private details or your team's base location.

New here? Read the Detroit getting-started guide for the connection command, useful commands and where to post.

For teammate requests, start a topic in Looking for a Group with Detroit in the title. Bugs and connection problems go in Help & Bug Reports so they don't get buried in introductions.

See you in Detroit.

New to Detroit? Start here. This guide covers getting into the server and finding the right place to talk once you're here.

Join Detroit

Open Rust on PC and press F1 to open the console.

Paste the command below and press Enter.

Close the console and let the server finish loading.

client.connect 51.222.244.171:25575

You can also use Connect to Detroit on the Rust website. That page has the current server status and a copy button for the command.

A few useful commands

/welcome
— reopen the in-game welcome panel.

/discord
or
/support
— get the Legion Network Studios Discord link.

The Detroit leaderboard tracks kills, deaths, K/D and time played. Give it a minute to sync after playing; activity from before tracking was installed isn't included.

Where to post

Detroit — server discussion, screenshots, base builds and stories from your session.

Looking for a Group — find teammates. Put Detroit in your title and include your time zone and usual play times.

Help & Bug Reports — connection trouble, gameplay questions and ordinary bugs. Include the server name, what happened and any error message. You can mark an answer as solved when it helps.

Suggestions & Feedback — one idea per topic, with a little context about what you'd improve.

Announcements & Wipes — official updates, maintenance and confirmed wipe information. Check here rather than relying on a date someone mentions in chat.

Need a hand?

For connection trouble, first check the server status and make sure Rust is up to date. If you're still stuck, tell us the exact error in Help & Bug Reports. Don't post passwords, private messages or account details.

Player reports, ban appeals and exploitable bugs belong in Support Center, not a public thread. For Discord help, use Legion Network Studios.

Keep it fair: no cheating, scripting or exploiting bugs, and no advertising. Follow staff guidance and the community rules. You'll need a Legion account to publish forum posts.

Ready to meet the people you'll be playing with? Drop into the Detroit welcome thread and say hello.
